چکیده
The present work has been conducted to study the impact of Zn (20 and 200 μM) or Ni (1 100 on growth, metabolic activities, osmotic pressure heavy metal wheat cultivar (cv. Gimiza 11) under salt stress conditions. Harvest index was significantly decreased by 75% at -0.3 MPa -1.2 53%. Length root, stem spike, leaf area were slightly reduced up -0.9 NaCl level, after that a significant reduction recorded. Total sugar increased in shoot while root with increasing salinity levels. On other side, total protein both spike. Osmotic as Treatment plants alleviated generally injury harvest index, length spike area. This effect more obvious treatments. Mineralization treatments three tested organs did not change protein. content level decreased. Treatments mostly causing content. These also values compared equivalent levels control plants.

Physiological role of cyanobacteria and glycinebetaine on wheat plant grown under salinity stress
Salinity is an important abiotic stress that reduces growth and productivity of different crops. In many agricultural soils cyanobacteria or blue green algae are the prominent inhabitants, where they potentially contribute to improve soil fertility and crop productivity under normal and abiotic stress conditions. Glycinebetaine is an osmoprtectant compound improving plant tolerance to abiotic s...
متن کاملEffect of silicon supplementation on wheat plants under salt stress
Heavy metals are the cause of major abiotic stresses in plants and a principal contributor to environmental pollution in recent decades. This study investigated the effects of exogenous hydrogen sulfide on the ascorbate-glutathione cycle in the leaves of coriander seedlings under copper stress. Results showed that copper stress not only reduced APX and GR activities but also decreased leaf AsA,...

Currently, food security depends on the increased production of cereals such as wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), which is an important source of calories and protein for humans. However, cells of the crop have suffered from the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which can cause severe oxidative damage to the plants, due to environmental stresses. ROS are toxic molecules found in variou...
متن کاملThe Role of Ethylene in Plants Under Salinity Stress
Although the roles of ethylene in plant response to salinity and other stresses have been extensively studied, there are still some obscure points left to be clarified. Generally, in Arabidopsis and many other terrestrial plants, ethylene signaling is indispensable for plant rapid response and tolerance to salinity stress. However, a few studies showed that functional knock-out of some ACSs inc...
